Navitas Natural Cacao Goji Superfood

Posted on January 3, 2013 By Kristin No Comments on Navitas Natural Cacao Goji Superfood

Cacao Goji Superfood is a very nutrient rich food and very delicious. Don’t knock it if you don’t like berries or chocolate, this food is like something you’ve probably never tasted before. So it’s worth the try. It’s a great snack for all those with New Year resolutions to get healthy or lose weight. My favorite thing to do with it is to add a few to a little bag with raw unsalted cashews and raisins and you have you own “trail mix.” It’s expensive for how much you get (about $8 in store), but you are not only getting a certified organic food, but also a certified vegan, gluten-free and kosher superfood. It can’t get in better than that!

Cacao Goji Superfood contains ingredients that not only have antioxidants, but also fiber, omega fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, protein, and tons of beta carotene. On top of tat there’s no refined sugar.

Navitas Naturals is a family-owned green business based out of California. They specialize in organic superfoods from other countries and use ingredients that are sustainably harvested.

They have some amazing recipes that are now on my to do list to try, once I get the money to buy all their ingredients. Let us know by commenting below if you recommend another product from Navitas Natural or have tried any of their recipes.

Tip: Heads up when eating. You might want a tooth pick or toothbrush handy because the seeds like to get stuck in your teeth!

*You probably won’t be able to find it in your local grocery story. Try an organic store (MOM’S) or natural foods store (or online!).
