Seventh Generation’s Automatic Dishwasher Powder (Free & Clear) product was the first change in my “winter” spring cleaning and by far is the best change. The dishwasher detergent I was using before did not fair well in the scoring system on EWG and in fact ranked a F… yikes! Why was I ever using this product in the first place? Honestly, because in my mind, I thought “if it was harmful to me why would it be sold in the mass market or even made in the first place?” That was me being naive.
Now armed with the knowledge of how many toxins I was probably intaking daily I made this my “I can’t wait another day without changing this” product. I found it at my local Target, which is a great convenience. After doing just one load I was amazed at how clear the glasses were, there was no film, and these dishes were the cleanest I’ve ever seen them.
