Burt’s Hand Salve - Saving Chapped Winter Hands

I purchased a Burt’s Bees gift package for myself a while back to give a try to a few of their products - samples are a great way to try new things. In the middle of the winter my hands dry up on me and no matter what or how much lotion I use I can’t seem to stop it.

That is until I tried Burt’s Hand Salve! I’ve never been a big fan of tin containers of balm or lotion because of the mess they make but not any more. This fantastic salve helped heal my dried and chapped hands. In the New England winter it’s hard to keep your hands in tip top shape but this salve is great - I leave it on my desk at work; put it on once in the morning and once before I leave and I’m usually good to go for the day. Yes, even in my dry forced hot air heated house.

  1. I would love to win some Burt’s Bees! I am fairly new on my more simplistic and greener lifestyle journey and one of my most recent steps has been to go more “natural” with my body products.

In an effort to make this happen as quickly as possible, I loaded up all of my bottles of “bad” body care, shampoo, and makeup products and offered them to friends who don’t have the same convictions. Unfortunately, this has left me fairly empty-handed and anything to help restock would be a lifesaver 🙂 Thanks - Stephanie

  2. Burt’s Bees is a product line that has been suggested quite a bit to me since I tend to have such bad reactions to products that aren’t completely natural. I’ve never tried this particular salve but I’ll have to check it out next time I’m near the Burt’s Bees display!
