SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer by Juice Beauty
I have mixed feelings with this product. On one hand while using the product I never had to worry about getting a sunburn, however I felt in lacked the moisturizer part of the formula. It felt chalky and pasty when I put it on my face. I don’t wear makeup on a regular basis and I feel my skin does better without all these cleansers, moisturizers’, etc used on face, but now that I am only a few years away from hitting the age of 30… I began to think more about the damage the sun was causing to my skin, rather than keeping up a good tan.
This isn’t a 100% organic product, but it is made with organic ingredients – organic: aloe, grapes, and pomegranates. One of the reason’s I picked this specific product was the fact that is was oil free and EWG (Environmental Working Group) 2014 Summer Sunscreen Guide had ranked it a 1 of the hazard level (0-10, 0 being low hazard). The cost was a little high for me ($29 on Amazon for a 2oz) however it might seem like a fair price for most people who buy skin products.
In the end I’m 50-50 on this product. I’ll use the rest of the product and I might even try another version of this product (with the thought that maybe this batch was old or dried out and not all of them are like this), but I’m not going to recommend it to anyone else.
